“On the floor I am more at ease. I feel nearer, more part of the painting, since this way I can walk around it, work from the four sides and literally be in the painting.” – Jackson Pollock

Inspired by the splatter-painted floors unique to New England, the Speckle Collection captures a sense of playful freedom.

To create the collection, we began with a strong base color, applying bright hues as accents. We applied the paint organically, tapping a paintbrush to create an array of dots in varying shapes, sizes and colors. The result is a collection of colorways that capture a sense of free-spirited creative expression.

The Speckle Collection is reminiscent of Jackson Pollock’s drip paintings, created out of his practice of action painting, which placed value on the act of creation as much as the completed work.
